-Silent/Live Auction Coordinator – No Experience Necessary!! In charge of coordinating the Auctions for the event, this person needs good organization skills and must be available for the entire day of the event. Access to a computer/printer is important. You’ll keep track of donations and help coordinate logistics for the Silent (and maybe even a Live) Auction. There are several of us on the Planning Committee that have run this in years past and we will guide you as much (or as little) as you need.
-Volunteer Coordinator - This person will be the main contact for our volunteers so they know where to go and when to be there. Will help maintain the SignUpGenius page. The person will help recruit volunteers.
-Event Décor/Entertainment Assistant – This committee is Chaired by Kristi Kessler, Needs someone to help design/develop theme of event, day of decoration, set-up. 4-5 meetings/calls.. 2-3 venue tours, pre-planning design and full day-of set-up.
Sponsorship Committee Co-Chair – Works with Lyzz Donelson approaching businesses, community leaders, and individuals seeking sponsorships and donations for the Austin Firefighters’ Relief and Outreach Fund to help meet fundraising goals.
-Public Relations/Social Media Coordinator – This person will have control of the website and FaceBook pages and will help us get the word out to our audience any updates, announcements or important information regarding the event.
